i. hate. laundry.

to say that i hate laundry, would be such an understatement.. i loathe it with every ounce of my being... i hate every part of laundry... the washing. the folding. the ironing. the hanging. but a few times a week, i have no choice but to spend a few hours torturing myself with laundry. i mean, we have to have clean, non-smelling clothes.. so when i finally decided to do laundry tonight, i washed. i dried. i went in there at 11pm to see if the load needed one more drying cycle (let's face it, i did one HUGE mixed load of laundry.. don't judge me.) i opened the door to find green... yes green... everywhere... my heart sank... i started pulling everything out.. looking for what caused the green... looking at a. my clothes. b. everyone else's... a girl's got priorities here.. i cursed crayons. especially green crayons. and jones or lacey for ever wanting or using crayons.. i cursed myself for not checking pockets.. i checked mine. and thats it.. i guess i just always assume everyone else empties their pockets like i do; before putting their clothes in the laundry basket.. i am wrong about that.. so i have my whites soaking in bleach in the bath.. all of my delicates are now green.. i am 'googling' how to get crayon out of clothes, as i blog.. i am almost in tears over the clothes that i think are goners. and i am beyond loathing laundry. every. single. part. of. it.

I feel your pain! I absolutely HATE laundry! I buy clothes sometimes just to avoid the whole painful task. Once Amy left a ketchup packet in my brand new jacket. Yes, you heard me right. It was messy, there were tears, there were words exchanged. So believe me when I tell you, I feel your pain.

That sucks, and I think only the one who actually does the laundry cleans out their pockets. I always check them. So sorry Rae.
