Lacey Rae

I'm a little behind, but 2 days ago on June 11th, our little Lacey Rae turned 9 months old!!! Which I can't believe. So here are 10 facts about Lacey.

1. She FINALLY has enough hair to actually put hair bows in!!!! Do you like these better Mackinlay? I must say one of the happiest days for me!! I know I'm a freak.

2. She loves to eat solid foods. And by solids I mean REAL GROWN UP food. No baby stuff for her. She can pound a whole banana in no time. Bananas are her favorite.

3. She has started to take a couple of steps by herself. She is still a little scared. Gotta get the girl some self assurance. 

4. She still only has her 2 bottom teeth. I actually think we are going to have a little vampire, because I see NO sign of her 2 front teeth, but her "I teeth" are as swollen as can be. You can see and feel them. So, a vampire it is. 

5. She laughs hilariously at pain. Definitely a Christian.

6. She is still NOT sleeping through the night. Someday, soon I hope. Great napper though.

7. She loves to take baths and crawls to the bathroom and stands at the tub screaming all day long. But not a fan of the pool. Too big? Too cold? Not really sure.

8. She is still hooked to a pacifier. 

9. She is a very sweet, but feisty little girl. I looked up the definition of "feisty" here it is: full of animation, energy, or courage; spirited, spunky, plucky, ill-tempered, troublesome, difficult, Lacey Rae Shumway. Definitely our daughter.

10. She is by far the cutest 9 month old girl I know! And we LOVE her more and more each day!
